The season starts the second half of the league programme in the York Senior League and Goole firsts will be looking to complete a notable 'double' over Dunnington at Westfield.

An opening-day win set the team off on a most satisfactory first half to the 2008 campaign at the top level and hope to build on it from now on in.

Collis King will be in the visiting line-up. The former West Indian hit form in their last match with a century and it is not often you see former international cricketers at Goole.

Good news for the club is that Lee Hayward hopes to make his comeback from a shoulder injury for the second team at Londesborough Park.

Lee suffered a dislocation in the field against Malton and Old Malton in the cup on Bank Holiday Monday, but has recovered quickly and plans to have a run out, looking to regain his first-team place.
