Youngsters secure County League wins

Viking Raiders 5, Sculcoates Amateurs 1
Viking Raiders kept up the pressure on AFC Charter and Howden at the top of the Premier Division with a fifth straight league victory at West Park on Saturday.
Despite the scoreline, this was not a convincing performance, but excellent finishing ensured the Hull side were never in with a chance of the points.
The home side took the lead after ten minutes, Matt Walker and Dave Woodcock combining to set up Ashley Lattimore, who kept a cool head to finish well.
Soon afterwards, roles were reversed when Lattimore's free-kick hit the post and Woodcock had a simple tap-in to double the lead.
On the half-hour, Raiders scored a third, Lattimore latching onto a through ball, turning the defender and slotting into the corner, and minutes later it was four with another close-range strike from Woodcock.
Four-nil at half-time never told the full story of the half, keeper Richardson having to make a couple of crucial saves at 2-0, and Raiders could not believe their luck at the scoreline.
The second half was a non-event as the game became a scrappy midfield tussle, not helped by the poor pitch and some odd refereeing decisions. With ten minutes left Sculcoates were awarded a dubious penalty in an incident that also saw Vikings reduced to ten men, and they reduced the deficit from the spot.
With seconds remaining Walker completed the scoring, running from the halfway line and drawing the keeper before finding a fine finish to continue his recent goalscoring run.
The Raiders' Man of the Match went to Ashley Lattimore, and Raiders are at home again this coming week entertaining Boothferry Rangers at Western Road. Players are to meet at 1pm.
FC Ridings 1, Howden Amateurs 6
Manager John Dibnah returned from his Mediterranean break and was treated to an awful first-half performance in East Yorkshire on Saturday.
The long grass made passing difficult, but Amateurs were thankful to keeper Thornham, who restricted Ridings to the single goal and were fortunate to go in at the break level after a goal from Gorman.
Some harsh words at half time and Howden improved, immediately playing the football they are capable of. A fine move with one-touch passing set Gorman free to score again.
Howden continued with the high tempo and Ridings were unable to compete as the chances started to flow. A goalkeeping error gave Gorman his hat-trick and then the young striker went on to give a virtuoso performance to add his fourth and fifth.
With the game won Howden played out the game with ease, with Thompson commanding at the back, and it was left to Stuart Silvester to pop up with a rare headed goal to complete the rout. (See teams for weekend, right)
