New nets are christened in style

Goole Town Girls U16s 17, Huddersfield Town 1
It was the club's first game at Westfield and the new goals, partly funded by the Football Foundation, were given a good introduction as the Under 16s moved into second place in the West Riding League Division One after the hammering of Huddersfield Town.
Mercurial striker Abbie Wilkinson, who is in a rich vein of form, had the ball in the Huddersfield net three times in the first ten minutes. Abbie went on the score eight of the goals in a display of skill and precision finishing - a club record.
The rest of the team outplayed Huddersfield on a super surface for passing with six of the Goole players on the scoresheet Naomi Chadwick netted four times with further goals from Amy Quantick, Becky Walker, Lucy Peet, Lauren Lofthouse and Megan Oldridge.
Huddersfield's consolation was a twice-taken penalty which was scant reward for their efforts.
Goole were in total control showing the kind of football that has brought four Championships in successive seasons to the town.
The Goole girls put on a great show for the large crowd to see their debut at Westfield and no doubt will be back to see more of the same
Goole Town Girls U10s 0, Springhead FC 5
The younger and less experienced Goole side were overcome by Springhead in the East Riding Under 10 cup.
Although there was no lack of effort throughout by the Goole side the greater strength and experience of Springhead shone through.
For Goole at least three of the goals were down to wrong decisions at the time but Katie Challenger and Katie Dennis worked hard with Megan Pollard and occasionally Bethan Taylor coming forward but never able to get in a worthwhile shot at goal
Goole Town Girls U14s 5, Bolton Woods 1
Goole started the game in a confident mood, having most of the play in what was a one-sided first half.
The first goal came after eight minutes, which began with excellent work in midfield between Hood and Hadwin, with Nicholls latching on to the through ball and scoring in the bottom corner.
The home side doubled their lead on ten minutes with a neat finish by Tait, and as they dominated, the visiting team found it hard to match Goole's attacking play.
Nicholls scored her second midway through the first half and Howard scoring just before the break taking the ball in from the left wing and beating the keeper at her near post.
The second half was a different story when the visiting side started to test the well organised home defence, who coped well under the early pressure.
However they were caught on the break when a Goole attack broke down, and they found themselves out numbered which resulted in the visiting side scoring their only goal.
Goole went on the attack themselves resulting in a free kick just outside the box, which was taken by Hood, who could only watch as her shot hit the bar.
The hosts made sure of the win with ten minutes to go when a shot by Hadwin was saved by the keeper only for Tait to hit home the rebound.
