Crucial blow as rain threatened

Woodhouse Grange 120-2

Goole Town 1st XI 117

Another disappointing batting display from Goole saw a predictable ending at Premier Division leaders Woodhouse Grange in Saturday's Premier Division clash.

After a rain-affected Premier Cup mauling on the same ground last month, this time it was the home bowlers, aided by stand-in wicket keeper Bilton, who shot Goole out for 117 in 42 overs before overhauling the inadequate total with only two wickets down.
