No insurance
A Goole man has been fined £200 and given six penalty points after allowing his car to be driven without insurance.
Rafal Semenowicz (34), of Charles Drive, appeared at Goole Magistrates' Court last week and pleaded guilty to permitting his car, a Renault 19, to be driven without insurance.
Prosecutor Julie Laverack Glanville said that on September 3 Mr Semenowicz's car was driven by a woman, whilst the defendant was in the front passenger seat.
The car crashed into a parked vehicle and during a subsequent interview with the police Mr Semenowicz confirmed that he had allowed the woman to drive his car, knowing she had no insurance cover.
Magistrates imposed a £200 fine and six penalty points on Mr Semenowicz's licence and ordered him to pay £40 in court costs.
