Ready to be switched on: Goole's Christmas tree was erected at the clock tower roundabout this week ready for the town council's big lights switch-on tomorrow (Friday).

The winner of the Mayor of Goole's Christmas card competition, Madison Earl (7), of St Joseph's Primary School, will be at the event, which kicks off at 6pm from outside Natwest bank.
