Diesel spill

Published on 30th November 2006 in News

Diesel had to be cleared up from the A614 near Gyme Corner at 12.30pm on Monday after it spilled from a wagon.

Goole firefighters were called out before the East Riding of Yorkshire Council staff gritted the road. Police Community Safety Officers were also called in to re-direct traffic.

On Tuesday a Goole crew were called to put out a burning car at a farm in Old Goole at 5am. Breathing apparatus and a hose-reel jet were used to tackle the blaze.
