OUTSTANDING!

Published on 30th November 2006 in News

Something to celebrate: children and staff at Hook Primary School are in high spirits after learning that they have been described 'outstanding' in a report by the education watchdog.

They are one of 1,476 schools to be named in a report by Chief Inspector of Schools Christine Gilbert and will be presented with a certificate in January. In the meantime they will be able to use a special logo on their letters.

Head teacher Janet Huscroft (pictured centre, 30-11-16 GT) said: "I'm thrilled for everyone concerned with the school - all the hard work and dedication has been rewarded."

The school held a celebratory party on Friday afternoon with food, drink and games.
