Banned driver caught again
A 22-year-old man has admitted driving while disqualified for the second time in as many months.
Kaspars Kokorevicz (22), of Pasture Road in Goole, was first banned from driving in August 2006, when Goole magistrates gave him a 24-month disqualification.
In May this year he was hauled before the courts again for drink-driving while disqualified and having no car insurance.
And, on June 19 this year, Mr Kokorevicz was again caught driving while disqualified when he was stopped by police on Hilda Street.
This week he appeared at Goole Magistrates' Court, where he pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and having no insurance.
Heather Levett, prosecuting, said Mr Kokorevicz initially gave police false details but then gave them the correct ones.
She added that, when Mr Kokorevicz was sentenced by Beverley magistrates in May, he was given a four-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months.
The latest motoring offences were in breach of that sentence.
The case against Mr Kokorevicz - who is currently carrying out 250 hours of unpaid work - was adjourned until July 11, when he will be sentenced at Beverley Magistrates' Court. He was released on unconditional bail.
