Man assaulted in street
Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a man in George Street in Snaith on Sunday.
The 20-year-old man and his girlfriend arrived at an address on George Street between 3.50am and 4.10am and he saw two men near his car.
He approached the two men, who then caused damage to his car before assaulting him.
The two ran off down George Street in the direction of Selby Road.
The 20-year-old suffered bruising to his left eye and a cut to his right ear and attended Goole Hospital for treatment. He was later released.
The windscreen and wing mirror of his car were also damaged.
The men are described as white, in their mid-twenties, 6ft to 6ft 2in, stockily build and both wearing jeans.
