A man has been told he could face jail after he was caught driving while disqualified.

Sergejs Suvorovs (27), of High Metham, near Laxton, appeared before Goole magistrates, where he pleaded guilty to the offence as well as having no car insurance and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

Magistrate Ray Guthrie told Mr Suvorovs - who was caught on April 13 this year - that he was adjourning the case for pre-sentence reports because the court was considering a custodial sentence.

Mr Suvorovs was released on unconditional bail until May 14, when he will be sentenced at Beverley Magistrates' Court.
