Take note - of a change to worship times.

The New Inspiration worship service at Trinity Methodist Church on Boothferry Road in Goole on the first and third Sunday of the month has changed from 7pm to 6pm.

The change of time has been necessary to accommodate families with younger children who enjoy coming to the service but still need to get the little ones to bed at a reasonable hour.

The new service started up in October, 2007 and offers a different style of worship, using short DVDs, reflections and varied creative interludes to bring a fresh expression of worship to Goole.

The emphasis is on joyful worship - after singing praises to God and hearing the message in church, the service is continued in the free coffee bar, where people can engage in discussion over the topic presented in church, or simply make new friends over a hot drink.

New Inspiration was particularly created for those who have not been part of church for a long time, for those who have never been to church before as well as for those who are searching for something different from a worship service.

The service on February 3 at the new time of 6pm was a great success, with the largest congregation to date.

"Absolutely everyone" is invited to go to the service on Sunday, at 6pm.
