The winners of Howden's Candy Andy Christmas card competition, which was judged on December 13, are as follows:

Category - four to eight years: 1st prize, Thomas Acklam (7), 2nd prize Maisie Torpey (7), 3rd prize James Midgley (7). Category - nine to 12 years: 1st prize, Matt Appleyard (9), 2nd prize, Catherine Peet (10), 3rd prize Ben Appleyard (11). Category - 13 to 16 years: 1st prize Nicole Ridley (14), 2nd prize Leah Ridley (13), 3rd prize Francesca Ridley (12 - commended and put into the 13- to 16-year-old age group).

The staff at Candy Andy's would like to thank all the children of Howden for entering the competition and look forward to the next competition at Easter.
