A woman was taken to hospital on Sunday morning after a crash in Goole involving four vehicles.

Police were called to an accident at 12.57am on Westfield Avenue, near the junction with New Close Lane.

A blue Vauxhall Vectra, a blue Toyota Yaris, a dark-coloured BMW and a black Volkswagen Golf were involved. One woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries and a 24-year-old Goole man was arrested on suspicion of driving while over the prescribed limit.

He has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
