Seen here at Snaith Chapel's Christmas Tree Competition are Daisy Squires and Phoebe Procter, both eight years old, from Snaith Primary School.

The School won first prize in the junior section of the competition last Friday with its display entitled 'Surprises'.

In second place was the 1st Snaith Brownies group with 'Christmas through the eyes of a child', and Snaith Rainbows came in third place with the display 'Little Angels'.

Winner of the senior section was the Snaith Ladies' Circle, with 'A winter wonderland', while Come and Sing won second place with 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarves'.

Walking away with the third prize were the Snaith Stitchers with their display 'A visit from Saint Nicholas'. (28-12-29 GT)
