Reward plea for stolen dog Pixie
Published on 29th November 2007 in News
A mother has made a heartfelt plea to whoever may have stolen her daughter's dog from her Rawcliffe home.
As the Goole Times reported last week Pixie, a border cross collie bitch, disappeared on Bonfire Night from Dobella Avenue at Rawcliffe.
The woman, who asked not to be named, believes the pet has been stolen and made the following plea to anyone who has her: "Would you please return her to her rightful owner?
"Everyone is missing her - myself, my daughter, my grandchildren, my great grandchildren with whom she lived.
"My daughter has spent hundreds of pounds in vet bills as this bitch was very ill in her early years.
"There are plenty of loving dogs and bitches in dog homes all over the country looking for good loving homes. You could afford one for yourself with the reward money offered for her safe return."
Pixie is wearing a black collar with a yellow tag. She is very friendly and will not bite, so people could approach her if they saw her.
