Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole copper pipes from a bar's toilets.

At least one person went into the men's toilets in Oasis, on Victoria Street, recently and used considerable force to prise the copper piping away from the wall.

The incident, which took place around 10pm on Saturday November 17, left the pipes damaged and caused flooding.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the bar or the toilets at the time, or has any information about the incident, to contact them on 0845 6060 222, quoting crime reference number 534003.

Alternatively, contact Crime-stoppers on 0800 555 111.
