A Goole man is due to stand trial at the Old Bailey on terrorism offences tomorrow.

Martin Gilleard (31), of Pool Court, off Fourth Avenue, faces allegations of preparation of terrorist acts under the 2006 Terrorism Act: possession of material for terrorist purposes and collection of information useful in the preparation of an act of terrorism under the 2000 Terrorism Act.

He is also charged with possession of live ammunition under the 1968 Firearms Act. Mr Gilleard is in custody.
