A Swinefleet teenager accused of aggravated vehicle-taking has had his case set down for trial.

Christopher McEwan (18), of High Street, denies the charge, and also one of driving without insurance.

He appeared before the town's magistrates on Tuesday and was told a pre-trial review will take place on January 8, and the trial on January 18. He was granted unconditional bail.

Mr McEwan also faces a charge of causing harassment, alarm or distress. A pre-trial review for this case is scheduled for January 8.
