Crisis talks at BAE
Managers at the BAE Systems site in Brough are in crisis talks to help safeguard the future of the factory.
The talks come after it was announced that the company will not be considered to supply 35 Hawk 128 Advanced Jet Trainer Aircraft to the United Arab Emirates.
A number of options are being considered, including building aircraft in anticipation of orders coming in in the future.
The factory is still producing Hawks to meet orders from India and the United Kingdom and it is understood these will see them through the next year.
Smaller parts for other aircraft can also be built.
