Howdenshire Forward AGM
Published on 8th November 2007 in News
Members of the public will have the opportunity to ask questions about the work of strategic partnership Howdenshire Forward next week when it holds an annual general meeting (AGM) at Howden Minster.
Taking place on Thursday, November 15, between 7pm and 8pm, the group will present its achievements during the last year. Howdenshire Forward, which is a partnership that includes representatives from local councils, businesses and community groups, is working strategically to develop the local economy and improve local services in Howdenshire.
Hugh Roberts, chairman of the partnership and Howden Town Mayor, said: "This meeting is a great opportunity for anybody to come along, find out more about the work we are doing to improve Howdenshire, and maybe get involved in some of the exciting projects that are being developed."
The meeting is open to everybody and all attendees will be warmly welcomed. Free tea and coffee will also be provided.
