Change of venue for Christmas fair

Published on 8th November 2007 in News

Sue Ryder Care Holme Hall's fundraising department is changing the traditional venue of the Christmas gift fair to Holme Village Hall on November 17.

Els Tompkins, fundraising manager, said: "Every year more quality crafts people want to join us at the Hall and we have to turn them down due to lack of space.

"The Christmas fair has grown so popular that we have to move to the village hall to accommodate demand.

"This year, Steve Anderson, author of 'Growing up with Ginger - The Cat Lover's Book for Cat-haters' will be attending with Ginger and will be signing copies of his book.

The Christmas Fair helps raise funds for leading healthcare charity Sue Ryder Care. It is open from 11am until 4pm.

There will be over 40 quality gift stalls, teas, cakes and a raffle. Come along and pick up a bargain for Christmas and support this fundraising event.

Entry is just £1 and kids get in free.
