Probus Club

Published on 1st November 2007 in News

Are you a retired man who occasionally finds himself at a loss for something interesting to do?

If so, why not come along to the Community Centre in Hailgate, Howden, on Tuesday, November 13 and find out more about the Howden Probus Club. The club is made up of a friendly group of retired men who meet at 10am on alternate Tuesdays for coffee and biscuits, with a different speaker at each meeting. The subjects covered are many and varied, from world travel to local history and from railways to gardening.

The Howden Probus Club also enjoys an annual dinner in January and a summer coach outing, when members' wives are also invited.
