Drop in big cat sightings

A man who is on the lookout for big cats in the local area said this week that the number of reported sightings had dropped.
However, Mark Fraser of the Big Cats in Britain group, remains confident that there will be local sightings in the future.
This summer, the Big Cats in Britain group was inundated with sightings of big cats in the Goole and Selby areas, particularly near Drax village, and Mr Fraser visited the area to try and find out more.
"There have been reports of big cat sightings in this area for the last 20 years," said Mark this week.
"What we're really looking for is hard evidence of big cats, but I am sure that we will start hearing about sightings again soon.
"There are people who will have seen something, but they just haven't reported it."
