Published on 25th October 2007 in News

Firefighters carried out a fruitless search for a cow on Friday evening.

They received a report of a cow stuck in mud off Hook Road in Goole, close to the Victoria Hotel, at 11pm.

However, the crew were unable to find any sign of the animal and recorded it as a false alarm with good intent.
