News Inner Wheel Club
A holiday in Thailand was the subject of a talk and slide-show given by Jackie Guthrie, a member of the Inner Wheel Club in Goole.
Mrs Guthrie visited the hill tribes to see how the Buddhist religion forms their way of life and customs. She showed wonderful slides of the architecture and colourful buildings in a journey north from Bangkok
The chosen charity for the year 2007-2008 is to be NCH Hull and East Riding Young Carers Project. Young carers are children and young people under the age of eighteen who have to support another family member who is disabled, physically or mentally handicapped, often taking on a role inappropriate to their age and development. The children in this situation desperately need support.
