The vacancy on Goole Town Council for a west ward member has been filled by a regular attendee.

John Frost, who has previously served on the council and regularly attended meetings as a member of the public, was co-opted at Monday's meeting.

He fills the vacancy left by Liberal Democrat councillor David Martin, who resigned on July 3.
