Group grants
Howden Sports Partnership, which provides opportunities for local children and young people to become involved in sports activities, were given a grant of £5,559 from the Local Network Fund through Humber and Wolds Rural Community Council.
The Local Network Fund, which gives grants to community groups who can improve opportunities for children and young people, gave a total of £130,175 to 28 groups. Howden Sports Partnership will use the grant to help them establish an after-school trampoline club.
Eastoft Parent and Toddler Group were given £849.41 to purchase new play equipment and storage and Eastoft Youth Club were given £6,999.98 to purchase equipment and materials to help establish their activities.
