Winners were:

Allotment holders only - vegetable and flower classes: Roses (H.T.) a vase of three blooms - any variety, A Bruce. Pot plant - flowering one, Bethany Burns. Onions - dish of five, 1 A Bruce, 2 Mr Bradley, 3 A Bruce. Carrots - long pointed, dish of three, Mr Bradley. Beetroot - dish of four, 1 A Bruce, 2 Mr Bradley. Shallots - dish of nine, 1 Mr Bradley, 2 Mr Williams. Roundel Club Cup potatoes - white - dish of three, 1 and 2 A Bruce, 3 Mr Bradley. Potatoes - coloured - dish of three, 1 Mr Bradley, 2 and 3, A Bruce.

Scotts Field Allotment Shield (best tomatoes) - dish of six, 1 Mr Williams, 2 A Bruce, 3 Mr Bradley. Broad beans - dish of six, 1 A Bruce, 2 Mr Williams, 3 A Goddard. Runner beans - dish of six, 1 and 2 Mr Bradley, 3 A Bruce. Heaviest marrow in show, Mr Bradley. Vase of three dahlias - any variety, 1 and 2 Mr Hodgson, 3 Mrs Bryon. Three spikes of gladioli - any variety, 1 A Bruce, 2 Mr Williams, 3 Mr Bradley, asters - vase of six, 1 and 2 A Bruce, 3 Mr Hodgson.

Confectionery: Fruit loaf, 1 and 2 Gloria Tawn, 3 Mrs Hodgson. Four fruit scones, Gloria Tawn. Chocolate cake undecorated, 1 Gloria Tawn, 2 Mrs Hodgson, 3 Gloria Tawn. Four butterfly buns, 1 Mrs Hodgson, 2 Mrs Williams. Victoria sandwich, 1 Gloria Tawn, 2 Bethany Burns, 3 Mrs Williams. Quiche (non vegetarian), Mrs Williams. Coconut tart, Mrs Williams. Four sausage rolls, Mrs Williams. Jar of preserve, 1 J Robinson, 2 Mrs Williams, 3 Mrs Bryon. Jar of pickle, 1 Mrs Bryon, 1 Mrs Hodgson.

Young people's classes (under 16) - open: Animal made from fruit or vegetable, Bethany Burns. Children's posy - cultivated or wild, Bethany Burns. Decorated hard boiled egg, 1 Bethany Burns, 2 Moorlands. Four decorated buns, 1 Moorlands, 2 Bethany Burns, 3 and 4, Moorlands. Four rice krispie chocolate treats, Bethany Burns.
