Post Office ATM
Goole Post Office this week extended the range of services available to its customers by launching a brand new free-to-use ATM machine.
The new cash-dispensing machine complements the range of other banking services already on offer at the town's main post office branch. Customers from many UK banks and building societies can already withdraw cash without a fee over the counter and current account servicing is available for nine UK banks.
"My customers said that they want free access to their cash, so we have listened and acted," said Mark Harrison, sub-postmaster at Goole Post Office.
"There are some cash machines in the local area that charge people for withdrawals but people now have a choice about whether or not they pay."
The Post Office plans to install many free-to-use ATMs across its network over the next five years as part of its mission to bring greater free cash access to people.
