Cyclist hurt in collision with lorry
A cyclist from Howden escaped with minor injuries after being in collision with a lorry last Thursday.
The accident happened on the A614 near Brian Leighton's garage in Howden at around 4.30pm.
The cyclist, a 25-year-old man, suffered minor leg injuries and was taken to Goole Hospital.
The driver of the lorry, a white Mitsubishi Canter, was uninjured. He was 69 and from Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Police closed the road for around 40 minutes.
