Daylight smash and grab raid
Police are appealing for witnesses after a thief managed to smash his way into a parked car in broad daylight and steal a hands-free kit.
The owner of a red Peugeot 406 parked on Gordon Street, Goole found that the driver's side window had been smashed on Monday afternoon.
Inspection revealed that a Bluetooth hands-free kit had been stolen, although no attempt had been made to take the car.
The incident took place between 1.10pm and 3.45pm.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the theft, or who has been offered a hands-free kit for sale.
