An Old Goole resident has this week warned of another supposed lottery scam that is doing the rounds in the local area.

Gill Cutter said she returned from her holiday last week to find that she and her husband had won 615,810 Euros in the Spanish 'Euromilliones Lottery Primitiva'.

The letter informs the winner that all participants in the lottery were selected through a computer ballot system drawn from 25,000 names from Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe, South America and North America as part of the Euromilliones International promotions programme that is conducted once every year to 'promote tourism.'

The letter asks that the winner does not tell anyone of their win until the claim has been processed, and informs them that ten per cent of the prize money will be given to claims agent Winterthur Seguros Compania S.A.

Mrs Cutter told the Goole Times this week that she has reported the letter to Goole Police Station.
