CHALLENGE US... is the cry being heard in the Goole Times office this week as five members of staff get set to take on a series of challenges to raise cash for local charities ... challenges suggested by our readers!

Do you want to see one of our reporters swim with sharks, do you want to see our photographer jump from a plane or maybe one of our production staff tackle a "bushtucker" challenge?

These five brave members of staff have decided to undertake a series of challenges which we hope will push them to their limits, raising money for local charities and good causes as they go.

They are looking for highly imaginative and daring challenges, things they would never normally dream of doing and you, our readers, will decide their fate!

If anyone has any ideas, whether it be big or small contact Jane Pindar at the Goole Times office on 01405 720110 or email editorial@gooletimes.co.uk

All suggestions will be kept from our brave fundraisers until their first challenge is set! Well, we don't want them having the chance to back out now do we?

All ideas will be taken into consideration and the final decision for the first challenge will be announced in the Goole Times in a few weeks time.

Anyone who would like to sponsor the Goole Times Challenge Team for a challenge or representatives of any local charity which feels they could benefit from funds raised is asked to contact the Goole Times.

So go on, tell us your suggestion. The Goole Times Challenge Team are quaking in their boots, waiting for the first challenge!
