Police in Goole have appealed for information after a gang of youths smashed a car window with a paving stone.

The stone was used to smash the passenger-side window of a Ford Escort parked in Marshfield Road.

No entry was gained and nothing was stolen, but a gang of youths on bikes was seen making off from the area.

Anyone who has any information, or who may be able to identify the offenders, is urged to contact police on 0845 6060222, or call Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
