A Goole man facing a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm has had his case adjourned until later this month.

Stephen Williams (41), of Airmyn Avenue, appeared at Goole Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

He entered no plea and his case was adjourned until August 21.

Mr Williams was granted unconditional bail until that date.
