Town councillors are fully in favour of naming the former Malvern Road allotments The Sidings.

At a recent meeting, Cllr Beryl Beck-Taylor described the name suggested by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council - Barley Corn Mews - as "horrendous" and councillors agreed The Sidings would be better.
