Parents and carers in the Howden area are being urged to show an interest in the future of the town by taking part in East Riding of Yorkshire Council's (ERYC) consultation for the town's forthcoming East Riding Children's Centre.

The centre will be a place where children up to five years old and their parents or carers can have access to a range of information and services. Consultation with the community ensures that the needs of local families are taken into account when services are planned.

Everyone taking part in the consultation can be entered into a prize draw: just visit www.eastriding.gov.uk/consult, search 'all consultations' and click on Howden Children's Centre.
