There was more success for entrants in the Goole area at this year's Great Yorkshire Show.

Farm Tech UK Ltd, of Airmyn, was declared supreme champion in the commercial beef category, and also champion commercial beef steer.

They also took second prize in one of the Belgian blue or Belgian blue cross classes.

In another Belgian blue or Belgian blue cross heifer class, Mr A. J. White, of Goole, took third.

Miss L. Davison, of Goole, had cause for celebration after picking up five awards in the dog section and Parkin Family Butchers, of Howden, added to the prizes they had already collected with a first prize in the dairy goats (goatlings) category, Saanen class.

In the equine section, Miss T. M. Sharp, of Pollington, took third prize in the Chaps (UK) non-native horse youngstock qualifier.

Mrs L. Rigby, of Holme upon Spalding Moor, collected three awards in the equine section, including two first prizes.

Also successful was John Fozzard, of Whitley Bridge, with a number of accolades. including a first prize for his lambs.
