MP's surgery
Firefighters were called to a house in Hatfield Place, Old Goole on Sunday after receiving reports of a kitchen fire.
Firefighters arrived shortly after 1.40pm to carry out an inspection of the property after the elderly female resident put out the flames with a pan of water.
An ambulance crew shut off the electricity supply, and the resident was given oxygen therapy by paramedics as she was suffering from slight smoke inhalation.
