Goole Inner Wheel Club members held their annual Overseas Day at The Courtyard recently. The club's charity for 2006/2007 is the Christina Noble Children's Foundation, which provides a home and education for street children of Vietnam and Mongolia.

Guest speaker for the day was Helenita Noble, daughter of the founder of the charity, who travelled from London for the event. A cheque for £800 was presented to her. Funds raised on the day will lead to a further cheque for £500, which will be sent to the foundation.
