Palm tree theft

Did you see someone carrying a palm tree late last Friday night or on Saturday morning?

Police are appealing for witnesses to a theft in which a palm tree was stolen from the front garden of a property on Kent Road in Goole.

The tree, which was in a large concrete pot, was removed between 11pm on Friday, July 6 and 10.30am on Saturday.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the theft or who may have seen anyone in the area carrying a palm tree.
