Lost and found

Published on 5th July 2007 in News

This black and white cat was found in Phoenix Street in Goole last Saturday (June 30) and Goole and District RSPCA are appealing for its owner to come forward.

Currently the cat, which is male and neutered, is being cared for by staff at Vermuyden Veterinary Practice in Boothferry Road.

Jane Petty, from Goole and District RSPCA, said: "The cat was almost starving when he was found, but he is very friendly, so he could be a lost pet."

If you think this cat may be yours, or if you have any further information about him, please contact Jane on 01405 839696.

Meanwhile, a volunteer with Goole and District RSPCA has lost her pet cat and is appealing for anyone who may have seen him to come forward and offer information.

The seven-year-old male tabby (above) went missing from Snaith a month ago and although there have been several sightings of him in the Snaith area, he has not been found.

If you have any further information as to the cat's whereabouts, please contact Jane Petty at Goole and District RSPCA on 01405 839696. (05-07-76 SU)
