An appeal has been launched for the return of unwanted NHS hearing aids.
Staff at the Audiology Departments at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have issued the plea so they can reuse the aids and help someone else.
Audiology Service Manager Paul Catlow said: "Even broken hearing aids can be useful as they can be donated to charities and sent to developing countries. We are appealing for anyone who has an unwanted NHS-issued hearing aid at home to please return them to their nearest local audiology department at either the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital or Scunthorpe General Hospital. People can also ring 01472 875201."
Alternatively, post them to Mr Paul Catlow, Audiology Department, Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Scartho Road, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN33 2BA.
