Holy homes

Planning permission to turn the Methodist Church schoolroom, on Fieldside in Crowle, into three starter homes was granted on Wednesday.

It will now be converted into three single bedroom apartments. The ground floor will accommodate three self-contained lounges with kitchens and toilets; a bathroom and bedroom serving each of the flats will be on the first floor. Despite objections to the development on the grounds that it would overlook nearby gardens and impact on privacy, North Lincolnshire Council's planning committee voted in favour of the development.
