Snaith and Cowick Town Council is asking residents to refrain from leaving cardboard near the much-used bottle banks in Snaith.
Town Council Clerk, Cath Hird, said: "The bottle banks are used a lot but people are still leaving cardboard on the ground in front on the bottle banks. We ask people to take their cardboard home with them and put it in their wheely bins."
