Going gold

Published on 7th June 2007 in News

A company from Hensall has struck gold not once but six times.

Lewis Tankers Limited, which is owned by Simon Storage, was awarded a gold medal by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.

Gold awards are presented to companies that demonstrate that they take health and safety seriously.

A sixth gold award is replaced by a gold medal.

Graham Towell, managing director of Lewis Tankers, said: "We believe we are one of a select few haulage companies that have won gold.

"We feel it is a huge achievement."
