Furniture fire

A pile of furniture, including a sofa and two chairs, was set on fire at the rear of Percy Street in Old Goole on Saturday.

Goole firefighters put out the flames using a hose-reel jet shortly before 11pm.

On the same night, a wheelie bin behind Percy Street was set on fire.
