Street attack

A local man received minor injuries after a late-night assault on Dunhill Road in Goole on Sunday.

A member of the public called the police shortly before 10.30pm and reported a man being attacked in the street.

Three men, who then got into a car and drive away, are believed to have been responsible.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said a complaint had not been made and it was expected the incident would not be investigated any further.
