Steamy call-out

Published on 7th June 2007 in News

Fire crews from Goole and Snaith rushed to the M62 on Monday evening after reports of a car on fire.

However, when they arrived at the car, which was between junctions 34 and 35 of the eastbound carriageway, they found the 'smoke' to be steam from an overheated radiator.

They recorded the incident, which was reported at 6.48pm, as a false alarm with good intent.
